Das schon lange aktive Leeds-basierte psychedelic Duo Ashtray Navigations hatte im Jahr 2015 mit einem FrontCover des Wire-Magazins und der viel beachteten CD / LP “A Shimmering Replica” (VHF Records) ein glänzendes Jahr. 2016 kommt das stark verzögerte Release der “Greatest Imaginary Hits” Retrospektive Box-Set und ein komplett neues Album auf Blackest Ever Black records. Und im April ihre erste Tour seit vielen Jahren, einschließlich der ersten deutschen Shows überhaupt. Uns erwarten donnernde Rhythmen, knifflige Synth Pulsationen und konvulsives Gitarrenrauschen auf dem Live-Set von Phil Todd und Melanie O’Dubhshlaine.

Long-running Leeds-based psychedelic duo Ashtray Navigations have had a year in the sun in 2015 with a Wire front cover appearance and a widely acclaimed CD/LP set on VHF Records called “A Shimmering Replica”. 2016 will see the release of the much-delayed “Greatest Imaginary Hits” retrospective box set and an all new album on Blackest Ever Black records. And, in April, their first tour for many years, including the first German shows ever. Expect thundering rhythms, mind-melting synth pulsations and convulsive guitar frenzy from the live duo of Phil Todd and Melanie O’Dubhshlaine.
